Bolander's Madia (Kyhosia bolanderi)

Bolander's madia (Kyhosia bolanderi, formerly Madia bolanderi) is an herbaceous perennial, which is native to the mountains of California and southern Oregon. Also known as Bolander's tarweed, the stem is densely covered in resin glands, making for a distinctly sticky surface.
