Stream Orchid (Epipactis gigantea)

The stream orchid (Epipactis gigantea) is a beautiful wildflower that is native to California and widespread throughout much of North America. Living up to its common name, this attractive perennial herb is almost always found on stream banks and other moist areas. Alternate common names include giant helleborine and chatterbox.
