Blue-black Leptonia (Entoloma parvum)

Blue-black Leptonia (Entoloma parvum) is one of several mushroom species with blue-black caps and blue-grey stalks which grace coastal redwood forests. Some mycologists consider the Leptonia subgroup of Entoloma to be a genus in its own right and use the alternate scientific name Leptonia parva.
