Club Gall Wasp (Xanthoteras clavuloides)

The club gall wasp (Xanthoteras clavuloides, formerly Antron clavula/Atrusca clavuloides) induces summer-generation galls on the leaves of valley oak (Quercus lobata). The club-shaped galls are very hairy and often bent over.
