Alpine Jelly Cone (Guepiniopsis alpina)

Alpine jelly cone (Guepiniopsis alpina) is a jelly fungus commonly found on decaying conifers, especially at high elevations after snowmelt. Additional common names include jelly cup, poor man's gumdrop, and golden jelly cone. Scientific synonyms include Guepinia alpina and Heterotextus alpinus.
