Incense-Cedar Cup Fungus (Chloroscypha alutipes)

The incense-cedar cup fungus (Chloroscypha alutipes, common name by photographer) is a tiny yellow mushroom that grows exclusively on decaying incense-cedar (Calocedrus decurrens) leaves. Despite being bright yellow and very common, it is often overlooked due to its diminutive size of 2-10mm.
