Clustered Gall Wasp (Andricus brunneus)

The clustered gall wasp (Andricus brunneus) induces galls that are more or less spherical and occur in tight clusters on the undersides of many white oak leaves. These galls are covered in fine hairs, much like the leaves themselves.
