California bog asphodel (Narthecium californicum)

California bog asphodel (Narthecium californicum) is a perennial herb which is native to high-elevtion wetlands from central California to southwest Oregon. Its bright yellow flowers are highly conspicuous, despite measuring less than half an inch in diameter.
